WHITE RECREATIONAL TV

Pulling in a whole Glaswegian contingent for their latest release are rising quintet WHITE. The Glasgow based outfit’s new track ‘Recreational TV’ is a gothic, 80’s-inflected pop track, reminiscent of the likes of Talking Heads, and perhaps even comparable to David Bowie’s darkest moments. Bringing in friends and fellow Glaswegian artists Lucia Fontaine, members of Baby Strange, The Ninth Wave and the late Gary Watson of The Lapelles (who tragically passed away in an accident last month) - together they create a huge, wall of sound in the track’s powerful gang chants. A shadowy, dramatic affair - ‘Recreational TV’ is lifted from the band's forthcoming EP Cuts That Don't Bleed which is set for release very soon, on 10” vinyl via Dead Beet. We’re very excited about it to be honest, and you should be too. -JC
